1. Purpose

This page explains how the animou-app.com website uses cookies and other trackers, and how you can manage your choices.

Animou uses the tarteaucitron consent manager.

These cookies are used for:

  • prevention of errors and abuse;
  • remembering your consent choices;
  • access to features requested by the user.

They are not used for behavioural advertising.

4. Audience measurement and service improvement

Depending on the active website configuration, Animou may use audience measurement services such as Google Analytics 4 (Google) with Consent Mode v2.

When consent is not given, analytics and advertising signals remain denied in the consent configuration. When consent is given, these services may set or read trackers to produce usage statistics.

5. Advertising, social networks and third-party services

Depending on the active website configuration, the consent panel may offer services such as:

  • Facebook Pixel;
  • TikTok Pixel;
  • Google signals related to advertising or personalisation;
  • Contentsquare, if this service is enabled for experience analytics.

These services should only be activated if you accept them in the cookie manager, except where a service falls under an applicable legal exemption.

6. Retention periods

The choice expressed in the cookie manager is stored for a proportionate period, currently 180 days in the website configuration. Audience-measurement trackers have a lifetime capped at 13 months and are not automatically renewed without fresh consent.

Cookies set by providers may have different lifetimes depending on their purpose and own configuration. Animou aims to limit these periods to service needs and applicable requirements.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by reopening the website cookie panel.

You can also delete cookies from your browser settings. In that case, the website may ask for your choices again during a future visit.
