Yes. Your information is handled with care, is never sold and you can request account deletion. Location is used to provide relevant alerts around the areas you choose to follow.

Messaging allows users involved in the same report to exchange useful information. Users can also report abusive behaviour.

The owner can mark the report as resolved to inform everyone involved and prevent unnecessary searches from continuing.

The app is designed primarily for searches in France. Local effectiveness depends on the number of people around each report, which is why every person who shares an alert can help.

No. Animou complements official procedures. For an identified dog, cat or ferret in France, the loss should also be declared in the National I-CAD File and the keeper’s contact details should be checked.

Messages and reports include a reporting feature. The moderation team reviews flagged content and acts when necessary.
